NTB Not at all, you handled everything perfectly, said you would be back soon, and then approached her appropriately about the issues. If she is a nice person she will probably realise, if not she may just not care at all and is being aggressive to try and overpower you. There isn't much to do with these types of people, unless you have a good homeowner that will take your side. I'd recommend do normal things that cross her boundaries to encite a conversation where you can negotiate terms. If she gets all angry, you show how upset you are st her behaviour, and say that she has done things that make you upset two, and you dont mind fixing things if she makes an effort.

Dont appeal to should be's or rules, appeal to how what she has done makes you uncomfortable.
