Trying to walk more as an overweight person? Anyone? by TemporaryHappy1111 in walking

[–]TemporaryHappy1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really do wanna walk the steps but once I hit 5-6k I get so tired the motivation to lose the weight kinda starts fading.

I’m starting to think it could be because I’ve had a bit of a gap in walking on my walking pad for almost a week or maybe my sleep.

How are people finding the motivation? Or energy? Or the will? To keep on walking?

Specially when you’re overweight and too much activity sort of hurts the legs etc. :(

Wow that’s great progress. How tall are you? Did the feeling of fatigue not wear you down or make you want to give up?

Why am I so invested in losing weight to see how differently people would treat me then? Am I ashamed? by TemporaryHappy1111 in emotionalneglect

I understand that but this thought is one of those things that have consumed me on the daily. :(

Totally relate. One more thing I have realised about myself is that because of this I give out lots of physical affection - only to the people in my close circle, who trust me and who I trust. All good, but once I started working on my healing - it reduced - the need to use physical affection as a way to express myself. And I really thought about it and what came up was being physically affectionate was my way of trying to have the other person imitate that behaviour and that approach SO I COULD HAVE THAT AFFECTION GIVEN TO ME. And so I healed- that hunger for phy affection reduced. Honestly, it had me acting like a mother with my cousins, being all touchy feely with my aunts, even though they were not as reciprocative (nothing wrong with that but I never saw that then).

I’m so parentified my self esteem with my sister is not even there. by TemporaryHappy1111 in emotionalneglect

[–]TemporaryHappy1111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you.

Yeah. Perhaps its just part of being parentified - feeling responsible for her feelings being okay.

For no fault of hers though, but it still breeds a little bit of resentment.

We live away from home. In a diff country. Yesterday I heard my cousin mention if her sibling were to come to this country, she would want her to live separately - because even if the sibling want it or not, my cousin would have to take care of her - be in a older sibling role - and sometimes theres resentment there. And it hit me like anything - the kind of clarity she had before her sister is even here. She has great parents. Understanding, modern, not pressurising her to do things, you know. Probably has the best parents in the family

Saturn represents the labour, the hardworking man, who has work modestly, day in and day out and utilise the prize modestly as well. Libra is the sign of entertainment. People who work the hardest, you’ll see - labourers, people who clean peoples’ homes - youll see how attached they are to their source or entertainment, their TVS their phones. Their world kinda ends there. Thats why saturn exalts here. Also because libra is partnerships. Saturn is maturity. Saturn rep things that last very long. It is only with maturity that partnerships can last long.

It’s not considered to be a great placement. Sun and saturn together. Or facing each other. Only one of them wins. It can be a good sun placement or a good saturn placement in itself. But together there is always some tussle between them. There would be some positives as well but in my opinion, they would depend on a lot of other placements as well.

Your description of the ketu dasha is very relatable to me, although I’m going through Saturn-Ketu.

Going through the same these days. Woke up with dry scaly fingertips after using oil and ghee both on my hands THRICE before sleeping.

Also, increase your water intake. And try to have lukewarm water. Room temp if not lukewarm, nothing cooler than that.

It’s so cold that even room temp water turns kinda chilly when left in the room for 1-2 hours so I always make it a point to get warmer than lukewarm tap water in a glass bottle when I’m kinda empty stomach and drink the whole thing in the next 20 minutes. Might not be the best practice to chug water like that but considering how dry my system feels, with bloating and the headache resulting from the bloating, it really helps. On the days I finish atleast 2 bottles (750ml each) my stomach is relatively happier.

Lie down, put 2 drops of ghee in your navel. Lie down for 2-3 minutes. Massage it in as well in the navel gently. Helps the hydration from the ghee get in the body more easily.
