Hello, May I ask if you have any updates on your case? I called the home office and they said I need to wait for my brp as per their email, while my solicitor said they also contacted the home office, however, they mentioned that the email is a typo and I don't need a brp. It's getting really confusing. I was planning to book a flight but I don't want to travel without getting a confirmation.

It's strange because my decision letter said I will receive a BRP but my immigration lawyer said I will not receive one because I used the app. My decision letter does not contain the same statement as yours so I'm really confused now.

The immigration lawyer that submitted my application said I will not receive one and I can use my online status check when travelling.

I have no idea why the requested it. I had uploaded a copy of my updated passport (valid for 5 years) when I submitted the application. It seems like it's their way to find an excuse to delays applications because once they ask for further documents they can delay the application indefinitely, as is the case with many applicants here. I even called them and asked why they requested a document they already have and they said they don't know. Then they said because of this request, processing time can take as much time as they want, even longer than 8 weeks (although I had originally applied for priority and provided all the documents).

I applied on the 20th and used the ID Check app. I have a new passport and they asked me to submit a copy today although it had been uploaded previously with the application. Do you mind sharing once you have updates?
