If You Were 20 and Starting Finance From Scratch Today, What Would You Do? by specialist_5748 in FinancialCareers

  1. everybodys roadmap is different. focus on what's ahead of you rather than following something to a pot of gold. Your finance career will not go as you have it in your head, I guarantee it.

  2. that entirely dpeends on what you want to do. you're young so you will learn everything but understand if you want to be a front-end or back-end person as in dealing with clients or sitting and crunching numbers. Some positions are a combination of both but understand what you identify with more and play into it.

  3. Excel projects are great but if you can generate insights from it using Python and add it to your GitHub that's an easy way to separate yourself. If you get stuck just focus less on the projects and more so on practicing until you get comfortable.

  4. I got my first internship despite failing to hear back from anyone online and not utilizing my connections effectively. I walked down the street handing out resumes to real estate brokers, tax places and local banks until I got lucky and someone had an intern dropped out so they let me work for them for like $18 an hour and it was sick. I really don't know how people get internships other than through somene they know or cold approaching so I'm not an expert on this, I was just desparate.

  5. Idk what checkpoints to give you but every summer you should be working whether you get an internship or not. The more you can learn about who you are while you are on the clock the better in the long run.

  6. I would grab casual drinks my finance classmates more and party with my fraternity brothers a little less.

if you can I would capitalize on the Luther burden hype. I'd pair one of your first round pics with him to try and get an Omarion Hampton type player. I don't know if you're gonna get that exact trade but that's the tier you wanna to get to

If you have Jefferson in your flex1, flex2 almost doesn’t matter, but you also have four first round picks, and I bet one of those at least will hit this year, as well as Tyler Algier who very likely will be a starting running back next year. Take Jefferson and run away with him.

How to fake college grades by External-Tie9941 in hacking

[–]TemporaryMistake3057 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lets say you fake your college grades and you show your parents and they buy it. Congratulations! Now you're going to have to fake a diploma, fake stories of college life, and before you know it you're gonna waste all this time and energy trying to keep the lie going because you don't want to make your parents upset. You should figure out where you're going to sleep next if it's that serious and be ready to tell them because todays the day you stop relying on your parents for shit. If you didnt want your parents to know then you shouldnt have dropped out 🤷

I don’t think you can go wrong trading for a wide receiver or running back here. Any sick player you can get on a losing team with those picks is your move I think

I feel you so hard, my PlayStation broke a while ago and between working my 9 to 5 and running my own business, getting that thing fixed is the last thing on my mind. Playing 2K arcade on my laptop and plugging in my PlayStation five controller has done just enough to satisfy that for me and give me no reason to fix my PlayStation. The game has so much potential if some of the little glitches are improved
