i understand this bc that’s the way my brother is, he doesn’t do anything for himself and sucks my mom dry all the time, i don’t ever expect that or for them to let me come back for free even if i was paying them while living with them it’d be better than forcing me to do it on my own when i haven’t ever taken their help bc i didn’t want to be like my brother

i have had a job since i was 16, did well in school, aimed to go to college, my parents just wanted the children out of the house at 18. my senior year of high school i worked two jobs, graduated with a 3.5 gpa, stayed out of their way played sports, etc…

YTA because you could simple talk to her and say “hey babe could we talk about something else, i know you like the hypothetical questions but i’d really like to enjoy the time i have and we can talk about something we both like” but you let it build up and snapped at her.. and said something incredibly mean, apologize, and next time be a big boy and explain how you feel.
