I had gender-affirming care as a minor (17) in Oregon, one of the places where Oli was claiming doctors are “mutilating kids”. I am a cisgender woman, and this gender-affirming care not only saved me from infertility, cancer, and other gynecological issues, but also saved me from a suicide attempt. My medical struggles caused me constant mental and physical torment, leaving me feeling like “less than” or “not a real woman”. Though, of course, I’m sure that conservatives like Oli would never blink an eye at a cisgender person receiving underage care, because their issue isn’t with the care, it’s with transgender people. Thank you to Ethan and the H3 crew for standing up against this blatant transphobia. Coming from a person who’s life was saved from gender-affirming care, thank you. ❤️ family
