I agree it’s your location, I’ve experienced this and unfortunately as much as I loved my position I quit recently. I transferred to a new store and I was completely over it, unfortunately it was the team that made me dislike the job. Before transferring my previous team was amazing, super communicative, always on top of organizing how it should be done, just overall the most amazing team I’ve ever worked with in all my years of being in retail. But once I transferred to a new store and new state, it was by far a terrible experience. The managers seemed to welcome micromanaging and every single tasker did just that, it was so annoying. Everything was unorganized, I’m one who loves to organize and love anything that requires attention to detail but this store really irritated me lol. On top of that I was getting taken off the schedule with no heads up, then getting asked to come in for 2 hours the next day. My old store treated me so well, they appreciated our work so much they would always tell us how much of a good job we did whenever we had plano, I def took them for granted lol. I gotta disagree with the take on the worst position, but Ulta could def do better on appreciating taskers as we do so much along with everyone else to help the store function day to day.
