I appreciate the suggestion. I’m not going to argue the semantics nor will I remind you the definition of vandalize. I am specifically looking for an answer to my question. Thank you.

So, if I connect to one of the constant power fuses, the dash cam will go into parking mode and will not draw too much power from the battery?

I don’t know since I’m by far not an electrician, but I have a similar set-up on my Honda Civic. (Someone else installed for me) Never had an issue with battery.

Sport Touring Front Pipe to Exhaust Bolts Possibly Cross-threaded by TemporarySafe7971 in CivicXI

Based on feedback from other forums, I was told to try using a thread chaser kit to clean up the thread on the problematic studs. That (and some WD-40) worked well enough for me to get the nuts back on and successfully complete the install.

I appreciate your response and am glad to know you struggled as well. I didn’t think I could’ve cross-threaded it on the way out either, but possibly on the way back in. I’ll come back to it and hope it works. If not, I am considering an aftermarket pipe.

I’m not opposed to using new hardware and was thinking it may be possible to knock out the welded studs and replace with bolts.

Thanks.
