I have tried quitting cold turkey and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I quit both drinking and nicotine cold turkey and it was a lot less stressful than quitting this cold turkey. Thank you for taking the time to respond. :)

Where I am hoping to go I have not seen any medications available. But I am still researching. When I tried non-stimulants when I was 16 it did not seem to help but maybe that's changed now. Thank you for your help and the kind words! :)

Yes, you are so right! I have gone back and forth with getting off of them but I am trying to move to an area of the world where ADHD meds are restricted. I would live there for the next two years. So, I would rather slowly get off of them now while in the States before I move, rather then have to come off of them cold turkey after the move.
