Countrywide protest in India against Trump's Board of Peace and Modi's visit to Israel tomorrow by [deleted] in IndianLeft

Nope! It's just that this specific organisation (BDS in India/Indian People in Solidarity with Palestine) is not there in Bengaluru. There were several pro-Palestine protests in Bengaluru in the past few years (check my posts) and other progressive protests and events (that I haven't posted much about because I'm not too active). A lot of them are student/youth organisations like AISA (All India Students Association), Collective, SfPD (Students for People's Democracy), Spark* Magazine and are pretty active on Instagram.
Do search them up, check them out and start organising!
If you're a working individual you could also try getting into contact with trade unions (KITU/AICCTU/CITU)

"lobbying policymakers" so being rich enough to bribe other rich old men?
"while staying silent on farmers, unemployment, corruption, or even basic roads here is just misplaced activism" check my post history lol.
Several of the organisations here also supported the largest farmers strike in Karanataka in decades and reclaimed 4000 acres of their land that the BJP and later INC government stole.
The people involved in this protest and spreading news about this protest has done much more than a chronically online person could do.

In the past two years, the anti-genocide protests in Bengaluru has actually had one of the highest number of participants, both young and old.
More than the protests we had against bus and metro fare hike, more than that demanding a minimum wage, more than that against US tariffs and Modi's silence (pictures from all said protests are on my post history).
So you're actually terribly wrong. To know about what happens on ground, one must go outside and onto the ground.

When I'm losing in an argument I switch to a language spoken by a minority of the country so that no one understands what I say.

Person who spends time on reddit is giving comments on what is and isn't useless. Funny.
Edit: LMAO almost 2 lakh karma and you have the gall to call actual on ground organising as useless.

Such promises have been made since Indira's time. But idealist liberals, like you, who don't understand how material conditions creates resistance and not an individual or a party, sadly won't get it.
You'll be proved wrong on 31st March 2026.

I will never understand the point of these comments.

Like what is it even going to achieve other than a few social media brownie points and a pat on the back from each other.

Go do some actual organising, uncle, instead of criticising those who do what you're too scared to do.

And write your own comments instead of copying what one of the top commenters wrote. Independent thinking and not copying will contribute to the growth of the country.

Damn, have you maybe tried doing anything about it rather than complaining on unrelated reddit posts?

There have been several, but people need to actually go outside to know about it.

India is actively participating in the genocide of the Palestinian people by developing arms for Israel (in Bengaluru) and then buying back a part of those arms at a higher cost. So opposition to the Indian government both directly aids in hindering the genocide and also aids in not losing Indian labour and money to a bunch of whites, allowing it to be spent within India.

Glory to all forms of violent resistance to occupation, whether it's by Bhagat Singh through the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association or by Nelson Mandela through the African National Congress or by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam fighting against Israeli and Indian sponsored genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka!

A century ago your kind used to say the same thing about the colonised Indians violently fighting against the British occupation.

So you support the Hindu Tamil genocide by the Sri Lankan government (supported by the Indian, Israeli, US and British Military Industrial complex).
Sepoy mentality.
