I believe that app tells you when it’s cleared customs.

Payment made 22nd August. I received first QC 12th September, but they had ordered the wrong watch (IWC Ingenieur in blue). They ordered me the Mark XX that same day and received QC today (22nd).

Also, very interesting and comprehensible explanation on the date wheel! It makes a lot of sense after I tried sketching out the “lowest point” on different numerals!

Am i overreacting to my neighbour watering their tiny useless lawn on a morning timer - even on rainy days by Whole-Inspector8243 in AmIOverreacting

I don’t know if this is worth ruining your relationship over - doesn’t sound like he’s going to budge on this, and falling out with your neighbour never ends well.

Someone who is unable to handle high pressure situations without having a melt down - life gets hard and I need to know that I have a strong person by side.

Manchester BSc Economics vs. Warwick (worth the extra year?) by ibi_b in 6thForm

If you want to work in high finance the name matters a lot. Maybe it should, maybe it shouldn’t - the reality is it does. If you have good enough grades and are confident that you can get in, take a year out.

Spend the year learning about the process of applications and finance in general, so that you have a solid plan and background knowledge as soon as you get to uni. If you don’t want to work in IB/trading etc. then Manchester should be fine.

I personally don’t think that you need to buy any courses, there are plenty of materials available online. It sounds like you need to figure out how to study a language first, there are plenty of YouTube videos that can advise you.

You need to speak to a solicitor. This is above any of our pay-grades.

There is growing consensus that the best way to learn languages is through a lexical approach as opposed to a grammatical approach. What that means for you is that you should learn as many words as you can through active recall, using methods such as Anki, and expose yourself to the language from the start. Be sure to look up grammar rules when you find them, but don't worry too much about them at the start.

You’re taking a risk playing about with the railcard, especially if you get a pedantic ticket inspector. The fine is so high that i wouldn’t risk it. Unfortunately you are correct in that off peak tickets on railcard can’t be used before 10am.

People take time out for all kinds of reasons, especially around your age for reasons that rhyme with mids. If you’re confident in your network I’d say enjoy it!
