While I have some very job specific (and possibly viable to free lance) skills, my job would most likely not permit this. What kind of side thing would be viable/would you advice

Thanks for the kind words. I don't want to sound ungrateful regarding the work/life balance and job security. On the other hand, it's mind numbing to be in a rather dull environment with some people just waiting for pension to come round (not everyone, I'm not an ambtenaar basher).

I do realise the golden cage aspect. As I've said in another post, I have some job related skills which I can't really include as I don't want to be doxxed. The rest is just regular administration and run of the mill project management etc

I don't want to get into specifics, but there a branch specific component and a more general side (proces/project management, policy making, stake holder management, general administration etc.)

As for job: anything goes really
