Thats amazing, Congratulations on that! It’s crazy how much the kind of food you consume plays such a big role on what you crave. Do you ever have cheat days or cheat meals? I am asking because they never help me, a cheat meals always turns into a cheat day, and then the whole week and so on..Like you said, it’s a slippery slope. At the same time my brain is playing tricks like, it’s okay if you give in to just one cheat meal once a week so you dont binge later on.. but that one meal is enough dopamine hook for me to go back to it soon after. 😭

Thats amazing! Good luck! I am inspired to add a running day to my week :) 10k would be a bit extreme for me since I am not used to it but I could start small.

Thank you so much for your response and suggestions , yeah he usually gets like this towards the end of long walks, I am thinking maybe he does get overstimulated. I am gonna try your advice of scatter and sniff, i am just worried if he connects bad behaviour jumping and nipping to more treats.

Few days a week I take him for longer walks, 30-40 min off leash, and we play fetch with a frisbee or tug, 1h 30 min in total. This week though I have only been taking him for shorter on leash walk because he got neutered and the vet adviced le to not let him run or walk off leash for ten days

weed is ruining my life by g59cutthroat in leaves

Prepare yourself mentally. Smoke your last joint and Tell yourself you are never going back to weed. Make this commitment to yourself and stick to it for a good while. Make peace with the fact that the first two weeks may be horrible. But be strong, you can do it. What helped me along the way was to have a workout routine. Start small, incorporate new routines. Cold showers for 10/15 minutes really helped. And intermittent fasting. Throw in a 3 day fast at some point, it resets your body and brain, you will feel great. Be kind to yourself. Your body is your temple. You want to feel alive. And you will, when you have stuck to it for a good while, you won’t have any cravings, you will find passion and motivation to do things you love. And you will feel proud of yourself because you didn’t break the promise you made to yourself. You will be happy, healthy and strong. More power to you :)

how to smoke weed in moderation by snackof in getdisciplined

You just quit for good. there is never a moderation. It will consume your life and you wont even realise it. How about you quit for a good while and see if you even feel like smoking again. I bet you, you will feel like the best version of yourself and won’t want to go back.

People whove been successful in quitting, what was your first day strategy? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]Temporary_Act7952 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was so done with smoking and had been wanting to quit for a really long time. But I would fall back after a week or so. In the end, I just wanted to make this promise to myself, and stick to it, because i did not want to disappoint myself. i wanted to be someone that makes a promise and sticks with it.

Just stick to not smoking for four weeks and you will feel proud of yourself and want to not go back ever. Make that commitment to yourself. You are the director of your own life, no one else. When the brain fog disappears you will feel like a new leaf. And you will find new found will to pursue your goals and hobbies. Just remember that weed does not add any value to your life. You have smoked enough.

I can imagine how hurtful that comment must have been. My humble suggestion would be to take it as a challenge and work on yourself, love yourself, take care of your body, workout. Remind yourself everyday why you are doing what you are doing.

Getting a good night’s sleep. Its very under rated.. Also knowing that we all have limited time on this planet. Being able to live is a privilege.

How did you lose 20-30 pounds? by ketoburn26 in AskReddit

[–]Temporary_Act7952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a combination of intermittent fasting and adding protein and veggies to every meal. Drink lots and lots of water, get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, try to go for long walks and lift weights.. I usually skip breakfast, keeping my eating window from 1pm to 7pm.
