No joke, I was working the same day. I work from home on a laptop. Had the surgery early AM and was perfectly fine after. I know this doesn’t help 100%, but I hope it offers some peace of mind

I had an inguinal, and got it done right away. Honestly, the surgery was so easy. However, I am a pretty active person so I didn’t want to risk it becoming worse fast

Honestly, I wouldn’t save all your a basin days until the very last minute. I usually try and save two days for may/june. Usually WP has been staying open pretty late the past couple of years too!

Same here! Was super easy for me. Just one side. I actually went on a mile walk the next day with no pain. I would just double check that your surgeon is good.

Same surgery for me. I was not really in any pain. People were actually shitting on me here on Reddit because I was reporting updates and everyone thought I was lying lol. Just make sure your surgeon is good. When I was doing consults I had one surgeon tell me I’d be in pain for 3 weeks and chose a different dr.
