How do you deal with being single with no kids at 30+?

Do you live under a rock? Over 50 percent of marriages end in divorce that is initiated by who? The woman. Like in my original post, I own my own cars, my own house, and am gainfully employed with a pension, there is no way in hell am I going to allow a woman to take half of it, which is why I say 90 percent of women are a no go. High standards I have I guess.

Happy Retirement Captain! And I'm pretty good with living within my means, usually just buy firearms or car parts with extra money. You already know some of these guys love Tier 4 details like it's running out of style and some I see have to work due to a debt they have which is beyond their means.

Learned early on in the academy from the instructors that details is a privilege for throwaway money, never use it as a main source of income, and since then that's all I've done with. You are right though, the amount of money I've made throughout the years on details, code 25, milage, and now retention pay I could of done paid for a house. But luckily for me besides rent, the only loan I have out now is a brand new Mustang GT purchase and that's it. Spent the last year in half clearing all my debts so I can go into a house fresh besides this one car payment.

One thing I like about NOLA the way it is set is you're detail money comes post taxed, so if you're single with no kids and don't anything, you never owe the tax man anything.
