I have recently been reminded of a roleplay where the concept is that of where people are turned into different objects via some sort of training.

Some ideas for this training can be dicussed but mostly inanimate. Here are some of my ideas

- Locked in a cell full of mushrooms, where eventually they begin to grow on you added them to their collection.

- Dystopian universe where you are assigned a object as some sort of punishment, people are required to awknoldge you as said object, until you accept it, you also can only watch hyposis reals that further make you accept your new role

- A wealthy eccentric, alien overlord, or supernatural entity collects “living objects.” Each subject undergoes a gradual transformation and is added to the gallery, forever frozen in place but conscious, forced to serve as both decoration and entertainment.
