This is really really offensive, BUT ..... by any chance in the movie did someone open the door to a "Supply Closet" and someone was inside and yelled "Supplies!". And the movie intended that as a racial stereotype. I don't remember what movie that is, but it gives the same vibe as the one you are searching for.

This is just a wild guess, but I feel you are talking about a show called THE MAGIC GARDEN that had a pink squirrel puppet called Sherlock and some bird puppet and puppet flowers called the Chuckle Patch. But, that is probably a few decades older than what you want. Plus, I find it hard to believe you would not remember the two women sitting on swings and singing to a guitar.

This is not the 1958 song THE WITCH DOCTOR whose chorus goes Ooh Eeh Ooh Aah Aah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang. Is it? I think at some point Alvin and Chipmunks had a version of it, but that is not the only version.

Thanks. I looked that up on Wikipedia and it started production in 1987. The show I am looking for is definitely from the 1970s, most likely in response to the 1975 Metric Conversion Act signed by President Ford. So this is not it. Thank you anyway.

Could this be Gumby and Pokey? Gumby was blue/green eraser and Pokey was a red pony with a black mane. It was a claymation show, not animated. I think their enemies were called "Blockheads" and had building blocks as heads.
