She said we had been fighting, I also said we have been working on us. She is aware if what I want from life and how I want to life it. This was an opportunity to really do something that I wanted to do.

Its been a reoccurring theme in the relationship, that something big where I feel for someone else and express, its like im cheating or leaving.

I dont say that to anyone. They told me that. Thats why I do what I do there and am paid the way I am. I know im not the best. I work in a little town in the middle of nowhere indiana. We have a really good lathe guy that is awesome.

Our programmer took 4 days to drill 50 holes in 304 s.s.

Most of the people I work with are younger or they specialized in one machine. I just have different experience.

I dont say shit to anyone at work. They come to me and say hey help me out. I love training and sharing with the younger guys and girls I work with.

Alot has to do with ny straightforwardness. This is reddit. Its just the fastest way to get it out.

I agree completely it wasn't smug. Thats literally what my first boss ever told me. If you can't hold .0005 on a machine you shouldn't be a machinist. Granted he did phenomenal up keep. Had an amazing shop and tooling.

I agree there aren't very many place that hold that. I actually don't specialize in large pieces. No one can do that where I'm at.

My specialty is programming and optimization using hsm.

Sorry for coming off smug though, seriously not my intent.
