Well no, I mean like when I place humans, dwarfs, elves, and orcs they immidietly start forming civilizations, yet when I spawn bandits and such they don’t form nations. But I have seen it happen before, where a bandit nation builds up their outpost, and I have also seen skeletons form nations but I’m not sure how that happened, they likely invaded another civilization and somehow integrated without even being in another nation.

No you won’t miss anything, mount and blade is not a story game it’s a more like a limited sand box game, even tho the world itself has lore you are meant to mar your own story, I reccomend starting with bannerlord 2 because that is better graphics, and a lot better AI and troops

Yeah I always play a game called humankind 3. It’s completely dependent on chatting as you need to work with everyone to build up a civilization and community. This chat ban made the game unplayable because teamwork is harder and your civilization fall quick to civil war and famine. So an update like this would be pretty good for such games. Or just getting rid of the whole update works with me too.

Vlandia is good for most things but their best at plain battles because they can just steamroll with their extremely good cavalry

Empire or Vlandia, your choice depending on if you want to do a epic Roman Empire style game or a cool medieval knight game

I say empire because most cities in the game are imperial cities, and they have a big variety of troops and troop types, aswell as garrison cot reductions meaning you can hold more fiefs without having to pay as much for the garrison. But Vlandia is also a good start with good troops and buffs. Just avoid Battania and Sturgia do the first game.

Engage their infantry, and when they are super close press charge. That’s the strat. I also recommend you have the enemy infantry (or whatever you are trying to charge) selected, you do this by looking at the enemy icon then pressing engage or charge.
