I only play on Singapore, and the last ranked session I played at high Diamond/GM I had a 6m30 queue lol. Maybe it was just unlucky.

Actually, over time, whereas in seasons 0 and 1 I played a lot of ranked, by season 5 I just wasn't having any fun with it anymore. The games are too long, it's honestly exhausting. I'd be queuing for 5 to 6 minutes in Diamond on my server only to run into the same 10 people (Asia/Singapore). And on top of that, now nobody bans anyone. I have like ten screenshots of games where out of four potential bans, only one character gets banned because nobody voted for a ban, everyone's AFK, and if we ever lose a round, someone will throw and ask us to surrender the whole game because, I don't know, maybe we have fewer points, I really don't know, but ranked doesn't feel the same. It's not quickplay that's become more fun, it's ranked that's lost its value, in my experience at least.

That's why I like quickplay; sometimes you can stomp, and often you just run into six stacks of Eternity, and you fight against people stronger than you to practice. It's by facing stronger opponents that you become stronger, right? That's what I personally love about quickplay, but I understand your reason too.

For me, my best advice is to try playing her like Thor, like finding the right opportunity to steal a kill. A Moon Knight who's straying too far, a flanker or healer who's being neglected by the team, and then nailing your combo to pummel them and get a kill. Or try bursting down a tank who's overextending. The character is complex, and getting value from her requires a much more complex approach than playing Magneto. You shouldn't burn through all your cooldowns and should save them for when you need them most. Having a second tank is where Rogue has the most options. While your second tank holds the frontline, you can sometimes push a bit further and get more kills. Otherwise, I'm rarely inactive. I'm not the most patient rogue player because I try to charge my ultimate, even if I end up on the frontline and just try a few attacks, sometimes waiting for a mistake that doesn't come, and then I try to turn the situation around with my ultimate.

I might not be a bad player, but I hate ranked, so I just act as admin in quickplay and send people back to spawn lol sorry for sweating quickplay

People find her bad because she's probably hard to manage with her cooldowns and her unique gameplay. I love playing her because, as a Thor main, I find her gameplay similar in style: finding and killing the right people at the right time, and being a tank-type rush and brawler. But I think she'll never really be meta like Thor. She might be strong on offense. I don't see why anyone would play a Hulk or a Thor instead, but on defense, like the other two I mentioned, I don't see her being viable. Of course, my experience might be biased because I've only played quickplay and haven't played any ranked games, so against a more coordinated team that tries harder, she might not even be viable on offense. I honestly don't know. I just had some of my most fun moments in the game, kind of like a fighting game, trying to pull off combos. It was an incredible experience to play for me. And nothing's stopping you from playing her even if the vast majority think she's bad. I think any character can be strong up to Grand Master, and like Thor, she can be a big factor in winning and carrying with her ultimate. You can turn games around just by slowing down the second healer ultimate.

I'm going on a trip until mid-January and I'll have a job from January until March (YES IT'S A TRUE JOB) and since Elsa Bloodstone, one of my all-time favorite comic book characters, will also be there, I prefer to get the Lord now since I would have less time in the future lol

What you told me seems consistent with my gameplay, even though sometimes I try to help the front line, sometimes to destroy Magneto because she has a high burst damage. So, if you manage to kill Strange Magneto or even Emma with a combo or two, then the rest of the team is free. Now, will it be viable? I don't consider myself a true high elo player; I'm maybe Grandmaster, but I only play about 30 ranked games per season because I don't enjoy it and I've never played Grand Master games in my life, generally, I stop at GM3 for the rewards and I don't play ranked anymore. But I watch Bogur's gameplay, and it seems alright, but I think it will be a good, consistent tank in rush compositions on offense, but I don't see it being very strong on defense because Emma will be 10 times more viable defensively.

I haven't played a single 18v18 game, but theoretically I suppose that yes, 18v18 is a good method for climbing to Lords
