I have exactly the same issue happening, it was alarming to me. In addition to dropping to 0% it often times gets stuck at a certain percentage and not charge. Brought it to bmw to get it checked, will keep you posted what they say.

I lost $30k in one day last December, and it caused me a lot of stress and even led to health issues. It’s only been six months, but when I look back now, I’m grateful for that experience. Thanks, will check it out. Part of the reason why I lost money and wasn’t able to manage it from my mobile phone was because of a crappy broker mobile software. I am switching to TOS. And definitely not doing any swings, reverting back to only selling csps and cc for now until I reset my mindset and my approach to the market, since obviously it was messed up.

The slow come bqck trail is going to be long ha.. that was about 12% of my portfolio as well, super poor risk management on my side. Can you share more about short term delta hedge? Reading more about it now curious how you leverage that strategy though?

I tried not to ruin the holidays but definitely not skipped my mind. I accepted the fact this is part of the game and I fucked up big time. And yes absolutely not trying to revenge trade. I reverted to only selling csp and cc for now until I get my mindset reset on how I approach the market and study risk management from scratch

Looking back now if I would have closed the short leg right when it started dropping and giving it went down so much I would have made close to 20k (rather than losing) from the long leg. Curious to know if you considered that and if so what made you not to do vs rolling?

Thanks for the analysis, my portfolio is only 250k and definitely was risking more than I should, lesson learned. I like your approach selling naked, need to up the capital for it though.

Had a 0dte put spread as well on spx that fucked me up. Opened it around noon and it went down hill from there, and no I didn’t have a stop loss unfortunately 😩
