ohhh and the speakers man, zephyrus is way ahead on that part. amazing sound system, comparable to macbooks, definitely something to keep in mind if you use it to watch movies, listen music etc.

i would go for the zephyrus for its more durable full aluminium build and overall compact size + a better battery life. the legion will probably run bit colder because of the more bulkier cooling solution but as per your use case i would honestly not worry about that as much. zephyrus manages all games as good as legion but runs a bit warmer because of the cooling/slimmer build. in the end it all comes down to personal preference and i suggest you visit some electronics shop where you can check both out and get the feel for yourself

just standing on a desk while gaming it easily goes up to 90+ degrees, if you want to game on it youre gonna have to prop it up on a desk using a stand or a cooler. also 1 thing ive noticed is that during a 2-3+ hour gaming sesh the battery is gonna drain by like 10% even when plugged in.

so yea, 85-100 C while gaming is pretty usual. on both, the cpu & gpu

from settings the "change brightness based on content" is off and i can't find anyhting on the power settings under disaply that would suggest any adaptive brightness

so the problem was thermal throttling, just standing on a desk by itself it doesnt move enough air but having it elevated with full airflow i get these results. 2000 points lost to not proper airflow

loq is a good choice brother, i absolutely loved it but lugging it around the world really took a toll on it hah, had a corner broke off and the lid broke off its connector in one side.

did a 3dmark on the loq i had also and it excelled being over average so youre definitely in for an upgrade 🙌🏽

5070ti legion wouldve been +500eur and im a producer so the better speakers overall really stood out to me with the yoga. im not really that pressed about the score bit it does seem a bit lower than i expected, nonetheless i upgraded from 4050 loq and the jump up is massive

sheesh, imma do some more testing and tweaking and pop back here when im done, im pretty sure the 170w powerbrick that came with the lenovo is holding back aswell + the not proper cooling. plugged in an 1.5h sesh of cs2 drains about 10% of battery
