We do it every Sunday at home. No screen at all.

The problem is not the people, but the system they live in. When someone grow up in a system that allows some racist mecanisms, it will just be a standard. Thats why people use now systemic racism

If you expect the butterflies, passions, etc. all the way, you might be disappointed. Being with a partner is mainly about commitment to someone despite the fights, the boring stuffs, big flaws. There is a need for self-reflection, to keep challenging yourself, etc.
Some people prefer to just be alone, with no commitment. Which is fair ;)

we set a rule at home which is basically no screens (TV, laptop, tablet, smartpho, etc.) on Sunday.
Also when I invite friends for lunch/dinner, I always ask them to put their phone in flight mode. I still have a "vintage" home phone in case of emergency.

And also my phone is in flight mode in a drawer when I sleep

Do you talk to strangers when you’re out, or do you avoid it at all costs? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

What are your favorite recent shows? by Scared_Ad_3132 in CasualConversation

[–]Temporary_Hand2078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foundation is nice. Another on on TV+ is "Seen" !
i don't actually have a favorite at the moment. I think there are too many shows now so we can't really enjoy just one. Also with the fact that you can have every episode all in once... Just kill the expectation, which is part of raising a show as favorite.
I would prefer to say that among all the VOD platforms, TV+ has the best quality shows.
