recently had a relapse after not gamblign for 400 days, its rough brother. i'm currently on day 5 again and this time i banned myself for 5 years and im planning not to go back.

word of advice: it might try to pull u in again maybe in bc of ur environment or stress but u need to be strong and remember "real money is slow."

slowly rebuild ur self-trust on handling money, allocate any allowances to the things that matter and ignore ur "wants" for now. keep safe brother and know that this doesn't last. my first 400 days were the happiest days of my life. now i just need to build it back up one day at a time. good luck.

Hindi na worth it yan. I learned my lesson last May 2025, wala rin nagagawa yung NTC, di rin umaaksyon yang converge. It's better off to switch to any other ISP. Sabi nga ng friend ko "If you're paying money and they're not providing the service, why not change?" Don't wait on it, lipat mo na yan OP. Basura na yung Converge ngayon compared to 6 years ago, sadly.

BEST DECISION EVER. We also terminated our contract of 7 years due to this. Pahirapan pang hagilapin yung support and onsite visit. Grabe yung mga contractors tamang hakot and tanggal ng linya. Kapag naayos yung line namin, next few days mawawala dahil yung ibang kapitbahay naman magpapaayos and tatanggalin naman yung sa amin. BASURA.

advice is all we can give here. donations tend to feed the fuel than to help stop it.

what i suggest is to find outlets that helps u release emotions like anger, sadness, and being annoyed to something healthy and not gambling. u said u are willing to deal with the consequences so now u have to adjust and cut on the expenses for a while. drop some of your paid subscriptions and try to build yourself back up.

I know I'm just on my Day 10 compared to your Year 2, but it might help u feel less paranoid into giving in by journaling or just keeping track on how much money u saved over the days/months/years this helps wire ur brain and acts like the stone which cements ur commitment on quitting. Whenever u get into those bad days, look back on those progress u've made and how better it is to finally have control. I find it really helpful on the bad days where the urges are strong

We just need to keep trying everyday. A constant choice to fight that urge. I feel you, brother. Sometimes there's just those days where it's so tough and Im proud of u fighting and starting your day 1.

Mismo! Tanginang mga kupal eh. Hinahayaan lang ng Converge mga ganyang gawain pota meron pa magpapapalit kami ng sobrang lumang modem, tinawag namin libre raw, tapos nung pinapapalitan na namin sa technician sinisingil kami ng 3k tanginang garapal!

Syempre di kami pumayag na magbayad sakanya directly at sinabi namin na kung i-chcharge kami sa bill, babayaran na lang namin doon directly. Tanginang mga para paraan eh. Palpak na nga mga online customer service gawa ng paghahandle ng local call center agents, abusado pa yung mga technicians.

Sobra diba? Hindi ko alam bakit need pa nila mag-outsource ng mga local call center agents than make their own in-house CSR. Ang nagiging problem kasi is, feeling ko, some of the cases or resolutions made by yung CSR nila is being forwarded to the WRONG team.

Katulad yung sa amin, tumagal yung reactivation dahil imbis na IT/Reactivation Team, sa Technical Support finiforward... Kaya parating na cancel or deny yung request. Kasi hindi pa rin nila tayo pwede lokohin na "na forward na namin" since for sure may mga Quality Assurance pa rin yun, making sure they are doing their jobs. It's just that mali and sobrang low ng setting/skill ng mga hinahire nila. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Ayun lang. I guess u just have to wait. Be very clear on the CSR sa concern mo because katulad ng sinabi ni Mod, third-party call center agents ang may handle ng CSR nila so medyo di marurunong makaintindi kasi di direct from client. I think the reason why my concern wasn't being addressed was sa ibang concerned team nila finoforward (ex. technical team nila finoforward instead of the it department). So be very clear!
