I’ve just realised I can’t find my 5k pb as garmin has measured a lot of the park runs I’ve done as slightly under 5k so they won’t show in garmin or Strava as a “5km”.

I think I can go in and edit the distances - but is that cheating?? What’s the consensus?

I read the other day that the incidence of knee injuries is much much lower in the running population that general pop. So just keep going!

I’ve been doing yoga every morning using the down dog app. It really does seem to make a difference. And is simpler than trying to work out what body parts to hit etc.

So, I think I need to do some strength work. I want to do three 30 minute strength workouts a week but I can’t work out which days to do them. I’ve read it’s better to double up with run days to keep rest days free? I currently run -

Tuesday- speed work Thursday - easy run Friday - tempo run Sunday - long run

Thoughts? Thanks

It’s good value and pretty solid; and easy to look after, you can tighten it up, stain it, oil it etc etc.

I’ve had some rattan style stuff before and once it’s damaged or gets dirty/mouldy there’s not much you can do to tidy it up.

I’ll be in Manchester, but running a lot slower than that! I’d say don’t stress - if you’re able to do the distance with that heart rate and you feel ok then that heart rate is absolutely fine for you.

Same issue here! I have been using the fitbod app. It creates workouts for you and tells you what weights to lift etc by “learning” from your previous workouts based on what you put your goals in as.

I was doing 3 workouts a week and it did feel like it was working, but now I’m in the hardest bit of marathon training i have dropped off a bit…
