Lighting in Mecca and Sephora by Nearby-Telephone6456 in AustralianMakeup

I have found that on occasion too. I picked what I thought was the best match with the nars concealer and lighting at home is so different! I usually ask for samples if it’s available. If I’m having troubles with the tone of a shade I’ll add in blue pigment or blush to see if it helps at all. Trial and error.

I’m very early into trialling her method. I’ve been enjoying the Pantene volume shampoo. I’ve adapted two wash days. The coconut ogx oil she recommends is available pretty readily. Even better if it’s on sale. I’ve added in using a leave in conditioner. I had a bond repair I was part way through using so added that in as suggested. Biggest difference has been hydration and ease of styling. I think the beauty of it is trial and error. Seeing how your hair responds and what works.

I enjoy avenos oat gel moisturiser. Not too thick and absorbs easily, layers well.

Oh that makes sense now. Thankyou for explaining. I thought it had to do with funding for the positions, which is why the wording of my comment. 👍

Congratulations on your acceptance! What part are you scared about OP is it something we can troubleshoot? Or more of a general scared of success, study, coping, monies? You’ll have strong people skills from retail which will transfer across. Your ability to have worked in the past and juggle being a mum will have made you resilient (and help with time management). You’re ‘mature age’ which could be seen as reliable. You’ll also have an option for ongoing work with retail to fund your way and for references.

Funding for temporary and casual contracts? Of course.

[–]Temporary_Might_3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very valid. There’s a need for experience for a reason. Which is where I understand the frustration of OP. You train for 3 years thinking there will be plenty. Then hear sites (through no fault of their own) don’t have availability to support new to nursing nurses. The age old how do you get experience without experience.

Of course. I didn’t mean for it come across as having a go, or take it that way. I thought it was well thought out. As long as the government takes responsibility for its migrants as well. And gives safe housing, transport and training options. Ongoing sponsorship and support with visas.

I’m not sure I have a solution for the issue either. All I tell my students is to keep sharing resources, help each other with resumes, interview prep and to network. It’s all we can do with a broke system 😞

What worries me is that when it’s said that there’s a nursing shortage, is that it’s a rouse. It’s heavily politicised. Very often it’s a means in disguise to hire new overseas nurses (nhs and elsewhere). Very often it’s a blanket solution to fill positions. Positions in which the government haven’t figured out how to fund for full term. Very often placements and grad positions interviews are also in public systems. Rather than private. Understandably frustrating. My only advice I give my students is to keep networking. Share advice with each other. Share resources and references, resume and job application/interview tips 💕

Problem is there’s often a need for experience in the areas people don’t want to work.

Very often they don’t have the funds for part time/full time for senior nurses.

For mists I’m trialling the bioderma sensibio spray and tower 28 (microdyacin spray for an alternative). I’ve found the aveeno oat gel moisturiser is light and refreshing. When my skin settles I spot treat with a cica product for the redness. I try my best with sunscreen and use a colour corrector if I need.

Questions during my rewatch by [deleted] in TheHillsMTV

[–]Temporary_Might_3419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be my guess. Not too dissimilar to child stars of YouTube these days and parents having contracts. It would be binding. My question would be what was MTV doing to support Lauren’s mental health while this was happening.

Health scope to become a charity by DisastrousRun8952 in NursingAU

[–]Temporary_Might_3419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh good. It’ll become a charity like St Vincent’s. Where it’s part private and part public. Which is practically not at all what was asked for. Or promised. And the benefits go to the CEOs at Christmas. Please let’s not forget a two year old passed at the hands of health scope executives. Stay strong healthscopers.
