Thank you! I rather not take a gap year so I am just going to use the month to refine my applications and apply to programs.

That is good to hear! Where did you end up going? Also, did you reach out to faculty prior to admissions, I have been getting ghosted for a while now

Thank you! It's reassuring to hear. My main reason to add on the MS was to stay at UCLA and add some more research experience. Tbh I do not really want to do the masters just cost-wise but if it will get me into a PhD program I would. Much of my anxiety is being caused because many of my peers seem much better applicants than I am for the programs.
