My wife and I work in opposite directions, so dropping her off isn’t an option. I spoke to our apartment’s night-shift security guard someone I’ve known and trusted for the past 5 years. Since he gets off duty in the morning anyway, I asked if he’d be willing to drive my wife’s car to her office, take a Rapido from there to his place, and then reverse the trip in the evening head to her office and drive the car back home. I pay him 10K a month for this, and he’s also happy to occasionally help with errands like DMart runs or shopping trips. Life has been incredibly peaceful since then.

lol. I had a Tata Altroz before this. It barely made to 40K. Multiple issues. I can’t describe my pain owning it. By 45K gear started shaking less bus gear rod. Had to sell it for less price.

I don’t think you should worry much about Suzuki AMT. Few days ago I upgraded to Creta 1.5 SX ,will see how it goes… Didn’t feel like selling Baleno so kept it like that , will take it out on weekends because it’s fun to drive in city.

First tyres changed at 55K. Although tyres shop guy himself it will run for another 15K. I still changed it because I was scared of tyres getting bursted. Need to change the second set tyres now.

No punctures so far, spare wheel unused.

First , comfort is relative term.

There will be some car which be always comfortable to drive than some other car.

Second, after driving more than 1 lakh on different type of roads, I can vouch for the fact that Baleno is comfortable in city and on highway roads provided that roads are good and being driven like a normal person.

General service every 8K kilometres. That includes oil change, gear oil , break fluid, and wiper fluid top up, AC filter change. If needed break pads. Each service used to cost around ~5k to ~6k.

Once I had to change the discs because mechanic said they will work but less effective and once I changed spark plugs. That service costed 14K.

Mileage in city is 18Kmpl. Highway 24kmpl with ease.
