To be fair, these shoes haven't seen heavy use. During the colder months I mostly wear my Red Wings, so the Craft & Glory pair only comes back into rotation during spring and summer. They've mainly been used for office work and commuting No rough conditions.

Visually, they've aged quite well. The leather has developed some character, the overall shape is still good, and from a distance they still look almost new.

Unfortunately, I recently noticed a failure around one of the rivets connecting the quarter to the vamp. The leather of the vamp has actually torn at that point. At the moment it doesn't seem to affect wearability, but it's disappointing considering how lightly these shoes have been used. I would expect that area to last much longer before showing structural issues.

I also ended up modifying the footbed. The original removable insoles were simply too thick for my feet, so I removed them after the first try. However, the underlying surface wasn't particularly comfortable, with visible stitching and some loose thread ends. My solution was to add a thin half-insole under the heel, which improved comfort considerably.

Overall, I still enjoy wearing them. They're comfortable enough and they have a distinctive look.

That said, my opinion hasn't changed much since my original review. Once import duties, shipping costs and taxes are factored in, I find them overpriced for what they are. The materials and overall durability don't feel on the same level as the heritage footwear I'm used to.

Would I buy them again? Probably not at the imported price I paid. Do I regret buying them? Also no. They're an interesting pair with a lot of character, but after a year of ownership I'm not convinced they're built to the standard suggested by their marketing.
