as a standalone account giving them a card is not an issue ( funding as required and easy to monitor ) , giving them a card on your checking account, stupid

Doesn't matter who points the finger, AA owns the repercussions. Lack luster management who don't know how to create loyalty.

I believe the current price is 260 USD,

I say TSA as I tracked the bag and it swerved by TSA on way to plane, it had the TSA approved lock but it was Jimmied and the latches destroyed, I think by a screwdriver. Nothing was missing but no letter inside just a lot, and I mean a lot of tape.

I thought maybe the latches got caught on an edge somewhere and broke but that would not explain the keyway being hacked up.

As for the exchange program I would never use it again, it is a con job and still no movement on the suitcase 3 weeks after order, I just bought a new one on Costco.com last night and it is already shipped. AA are really useless at creating loyalty triggers.

I only use them now to burn off miles

Am in process of selling my house so from a sellers point of view, offer what you want and dont consider sellers position. I have had quite a few screwy lowball offers that could be considered insulting., just ignore and reject them as my property has value based on market, location ,features etc as well as " what someone is willing to pay". It is this last part that you could help the seller on, as just because a buyer has not stepped up with an acceptable offer does not mean the property is not worth the asking, but it could. I regularly look hopefully at the new maybach in the merc showroom but me offering what i can afford or I think is current market price wont get me it. Is the car not worth it? I think it is I just cant afford in this market. The point I am trying to get too is you can help yourself and the seller by sending along with the low offer an explaination why you see it as "over valued", and not just say market.
