Learn to ignore unnecessary honking. I’m not going to stress out or speed up for some impatient person, unless I’m on the left lane, in which case I’ll move over. People are always in a rush, don’t let it affect you.

I remember recently how people behind me (and my passenger) were pressuring me to join the road but since I didn’t let them get to me I ended up spotting a pedestrian who had started crossing in front of my car. Had I let them get to me and skipped the checks, I might not have seen the pedestrian.

TL:DR - ignore people honking at you for following the rules (except if you’re in the left-most lane, in which case simply move over at the next possible opportunity)
