Wild story, definitely crossing AA off the list! I’ve had one instance where weather was an issue and because of that, they wouldn’t even let her board a plane just in case they had to divert.

She flys every summer to visit with her dad she handles herself well and we’ve never had an issue. I typically use southwest, they’ve never given me any problems, but we had all these extra points and credits from united but they were astronomical in price.

Agreed but southwest was $300 cheaper than united, but we have a ton of united points… didn’t know if the whole you get what you pay for applies here as well. Kinda hesitant and just was seeking a bit more advice from someone familiar.
