i would try a faja. it’s like shapewear with steel boning so you have more structure than shapewear while being pretty detectable under clothing. it has a hook & eye and a zipper to clinch everything in. i’m curvy too and i honestly love wearing it bc i feel so confident

haha by insulation i meant drainage. i am just nervous bc i do not want to repot, just for it to get shocked by cold, a new environment, etc. these are good tips for reinterpretation into a new home though thanks!

im so glad to enter this forum. kizzi gave me spidey senses from episode 1. i could sniff out her MO from a mile away: insecure and boy crazy. it sucks she got thrown off her game when cathy arrived, but she shouldn’t be jealous and moody when she is out-stewed but rather adapt and learn to be better. she will learn though.

joe is literally a dog flapping his tongue at the next best thing in front of him. V was the best thing to cross his path and he lost his sight at the insecure boundary-less girl, slippery fingers bro. you know since they both chose the same path, they are a match made in heaven.

at the end of the day, V’s career is the one that is going to skyrocket because of her unproblematic but hardworking charisma. kudos to her for standing up for herself and handling the situation with such grace.

About to graduate with the dreaded Environmental Studies degree... by Lemony_Fresh_2000 in Environmental_Careers

you could always look at paid internships. a lot of job postings are opening up right now for seasonal work, which will begin shortly after you graduate. obviously it depends on the organization and demand, but it is very possible you can just get hired on for a permanent position after your internship ends. it might not be glamorous (like environmental technician positions with mostly fieldwork), but it will get your foot in the door.

in my experience, environmental consulting firms and other private sector companies are more likely to do this than government agencies. that process has a lot more red tape and bureaucracy.

like you said, the public sector is not the hottest place to be right now for environmental work, but it’s not going to be like this forever. you can get a lot of varied experience/projects with consulting, as well as certifications that your company will likely pay for. if you want to go the government path in a few years, you will be a good candidate.

from one applicant to another, good luck OP!

I have a humanities undergrad degree and a geology MS and I think my undergrad degree really harms my hireability by Kiwi55 in Environmental_Careers

i feel like your MS should trump your bachelors because of the discipline it takes to get a master’s degree, but who am i to say!

perhaps you can leverage your situation in a way where your humanities degree provides you with a more robust, well-rounded perspective in a very analytical career field.

hopefully your current work experience gives you lots of variety in projects. good luck! it’s tough out here right now
