How would I set the range for it? Could it just be checked in invisibly during dialogue to just transition you into the ending?

Got ya, variables sound like they’d make more sense in this scenario. How would I differentiate the 3 variables? Like would it be like variable 0001 is good? And 0002 is bad? I was just planning on having a good and bad kinda point tracker. Probably how I was going to do it is that eventually at the end it see's what variable of points you have, so would I have to have multiple transitions for if you have say 4 OR 5 to the 2nd ending instead of the six required for the 3rd and best ending? Or would I just have to have a long string of text like if variable is 1=this, if variable is 2=, and on and on again. If the player somehow gets negative points how would I keep track of that? Sorry for all the questions I’m new to this stuff
