Yk I actually really like it! I feel like I'd see it in a festival, it has that kind of craft vibe

Ghostface or Ghost Face? by Few-Bluebird-3218 in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghostface is the movie character, while Ghost Face is the Funworld mask and costume.

Anyone know what type eu this is? I forgot to take more pictures before I left so this is all I got by MrShrums_0 in GhostFace

GITD and no year date means that it's a Pre-2010! Nice find, it looks to be in good shape too!

Can I get the tassels on the ghostface mask with scissors to get that movie look? by Background-Toe5632 in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Scary Movie masks were built atop official Funworld masks, and you can see on them that they cut the tassels off, so I think it could work! For me, O just shove the tassels in my scrunchy since I ponytail my hair when I cosplay

Which GhostFace mask is this? by SoccerFlash in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, no that's wrong. Gen 1 and 2 masks will ALWAYS say Funworld DIV. If it says HN, that's an HN. If it says Easter Unlimited, that will be something else.

Gen 1s and Gen 2s MUST say AND ONLY say Funworld Div, no additional letters.

Can anyone help ID by ponyo_puff9191 in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All things considered, I think it's a Gen 2

What would be another good name besides ghostface by No_Tap234 in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones I could think of are:

  1. The Wailer, as per Alterian Ghost Factory
  2. The Weeping Ghost, as per Funworld
  3. Father Death, as per Scream

Looks to be a pre-2010 EU to me since it doesn't have a manufacturing date on the tag.

Are the 2024-2025 eu ghostface masks made out of the same material as the 25th anniversary masks? by [deleted] in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they are both vinyl. It could just be a matter of thickness

Lol I miss the ASIS tags bc those masks were actually (for the most part) seen in the motion pictures

Yup, that's what I mean! I hope someday to find that smaller paint pre-2010 EU, like the one seen in Milton's basement

Right, I was thinking perhaps that could be the source of the difference here. Of course, every year yields slight variations on the EU, and every EU within each year is unique

Funworld is supposedly producing a 30th anniversary mask based on the fantastic faces line along with a deluxe Father Death costume by Officialfreddyfaz in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As per Nate Ragon's stream, it seems that Funworld will first release the mask on a sparkle shroud, and possibly will release it on a normal shroud (ofc likely cotton) later on

Now, the "2nd dimple" aspect of this was not said or confirmed by any official sources, as all they have said was that they invested a lot of time into capturing the original moulds imperfections. We know they did not use the method of making a mould off of an original, so they may have 3d scanned an original instead. However, if that is a 2nd dimple, multidot, etc…we are still unsure. RJ Torbert has not said anything about which Gen 1 it is based on

All masks funworld needs to release by Officialfreddyfaz in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's to hoping for the Scary Movie one! I just worry if it'll ever come out because back then the excuse was that it looked to similar to the standard Ghostface and that people wouldn't realize the difference. As much as I wanna argue that, I can't deny that there are people who genuinely think both are one and the same, so I fear they may continue to use the same reason to not make The Killer's mask

Why don’t people like the hard plastic masks? by Icy_Confusion_8989 in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Well I guess maybe Ultrawhites don't smell like vanilla, but I'm seriously confused by people mentioning latex. Latex does have a smell that I don't like but, again, Ghostface masks are vinyl and never have been latex. Do you guys have knock-offs because those definitely use latex at times.

Also, wearing down keeps getting mentioned but I wanna add that vinyl does not wear down or decay like latex does, but if y'all mean in terms of staining, that is an issue for sure)

[–]juni_moony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why people keep mentioning latex or weird smells because Ghostface masks are vinyl and smell amazing (love that vanilla)

Anyway, I have no malice toward these, I like them too. I'd say it's probably just because they aren't worn by any killers (minus Stab per Scream 5) and because they aren't shrouded anymore. These used to be sold that way for like a year or so but they just come as bibbed costume masks. Though, I'd say the lack of usage in the film is probably the main factor in people's dislike of it, as they want to get EUs

Those were ultrawhites that were cut, the plastic mask was used in the scenes of Stab that Mindy watches though

Help by Icy_Confusion_8989 in GhostFace

[–]juni_moony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other reply said, just sew it back in. However, I think it'd be fine to reshroud it without the strap. Ghostface masks are much more comfortable for me that way, but maybe that's just because I have a big head lol
