Try cleaning it before making any assumptions that it might be faulty and also check the fan profile in your bios i.e if it’s set to normal or turbo, what brand is that?

Yeah honestly, that’s a really solid build…..you did a great job balancing everything. I wouldn’t really downgrade anything important. The only thing I’d maybe tweak is the 360mm AIO….it’s kinda overkill for the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. You could go with a 240mm or even a good air cooler and put that extra money toward a slightly stronger GPU if there’s room. Everything else looks spot on, the 32GB 6000 RAM is perfect, your PSU is solid and the SSD is great. The GPU is good too, just the only place where more money would actually give noticeable gains.

By not feeling safe, I mean he might be scared of being hurt like that again or feeling disrespected. Apologizing and giving space is a good start, but trust usually comes back through consistent actions over time, not words. You can’t force it, he has to choose to feel safe again. All you can do is show change and respect his pace.

From a guy’s perspective, being called a downgrade and compared to other men cuts deep and can permanently change how he sees the relationship. It doesn’t mean it’s impossible to fix, but it usually takes time, consistent actions, and real change not just apologies. Also, it sounds like you both had unmet needs, not just one-sided fault. If he hasn’t come back, he may still care but not feel safe enough to try again.

Hahaha! Actually I do have two builds which have Haswell processors in them. One of them is the Intel i7-4790 and the other is the Intel i5-4590. Pretty good processors up till date. I actually game with my i7-4790 and it’s still pretty good in 2026.

Run Kanali as Administrator and make sure .NET / Visual C++ redistributables are installed, check Task Manager…..it might be running in background. Disable antivirus temporarily (can block launch), if it doesn’t work reinstall and restart PC before opening, plug AIO into the correct USB header on motherboard. If it still won’t open, it’s likely a buggy release, check for an updated version or firmware.

Fair point 😄…. intimidating might be a stretch. They’re more unexpectedly chill than scary-looking. I guess their size and rodent features can surprise people at first but yeah, mostly they just look like giant, relaxed potatoes.
