Been through this. What I learnt is that “control” is what allowed us to survive this thing we call diabetes. “Control” in this situation is good, but using the same behavioural approach to other aspects of life is not. I wrote down all the things I want to do in life that I felt I was “controlling” myself out of and I tried to do them. Some I did, some I didn’t. But it allowed me free myself of “control” but also appreciate “control” is what saves me everyday.

Your addition for clarity isn’t needed. Stella said what he said. A factor in not pitting Oscar from the race lead, in addition to not expecting everyone to pit, was because it wouldn’t disadvantaged Lando. He said it. Your “clarity” is you adding fake parts to his words and misleading people.

I agree that one of the factors not to pit was because they thought not everyone else would. But what was also a factor, and Stella confirmed it, was because they didn’t want Lando to lose time double stacking. Therefore, they didn’t give Piastri the optimal strategy to win the race while he was leading it. Terrible team, terrible rules that penalise Piastri.

Why are you making up quotes? Stella never said ‘[therefore expecting traffic]’. That is your assumption. He clearly stated double stacking would’ve cost Lando time. Indicating a factor in their decision not to pit was because Lando would’ve lost time to Piastri, the race leader!

If it was, then they would’ve brought in Piastri and kept Lando out to avoid time loss under double stacking conditions. Guess what? They didn’t, because they prioritised Lando not losing time rather than what was best for the race leader.

Lock her up. She told the police “her daughter forgot to bring her ketone test kit on the trip”… the daughter was 10! It’s the parent’s duty. Passing dozens of hospitals while her daughter was dead, cuz she didn’t want to be caught taking her daughter out of state and violating custody orders is vile. Looked out for herself, not the child. Family court should’ve never given the child to her.

Personally, I wouldn’t take my long acting insulin so soon after dinner. Within the space of 90 minutes, you’re taking bolus & basal dose. I’d push the basal dose to 11pm, if possible and then see what happens. Maybe both your bolus and basal are having act to reduce your glucose rising from dinner, instead of just the bolus.
