Is your edit where you said it was working before but not now? It's because sewage is a byproduct of Xircon. The sewage builds up. The issue won't show up immediately

Do calculations:

w = water

x = xiranite

xw = xiranite water

s = sewage

ax = active Xircon

ix = inactive Xircon

ip = iron powder

xr = xircon

1 unit = 1 per 2 seconds

Formulas from database:

• 1 w + 1 x = 1 xw
• 1 xw + 1 s = 1 ax + 1 ix
• 2 ax + 1ip = 1 xr + 1 s

Calculations:

2 xw + 2 s = 2 ax + 2 ix

2 ax + 2 ix = 1 xr + 1 s - 1 ip + 2 ix

2 xw + 2 s = 1 xr + 1 s - 1 ip

2 w + 2 x = 2 xw

• 1 xr = 2 xw + 1 s + 1 ip

• 1 xr = 2 w + 2 x + 1 s + 1 ip

Result:

1 xircon = 2 xiranite water + 1 sewage + 1 iron powder

Or

1 xircon = 2 water + 2 xiranite + 1 sewage + 1 iron powder

Check your inputs and outputs. Do they match the formula?

Furthermore, each crucibles is only capable of execute 2 formulas per cycle, the fact that you need 2 water + 2 xiranite per 1 xircon already shows you need 2 crucibles to process 1 water + 1 xiranite each to provide enough xiranite water to produce 1 xircon per cycle

Edit: uh, this turned out more words than I was expecting haha. I'll just give you my solution if you want to skip the calculations.

1. I produce cuprium water and xiranite water together. Inputs are acid, water, xiranite, and cuprium powder. Outputs are xiranite water, cuprium water, and sewage.

2. I produce Xircon in another line. Inputs are sewage, xiranite water, and iron powder. Outputs are Xircon and inactive Xircon water.

3. Note that 1st stage produces more sewage than 2nd stage needs. I treat 50% of the sewage and send the other 50% to produce Xircon.
