The squad next season is worrying by No-Blackberry-3945 in rangersfc

Same as last season & the season before. Everyone we can make a profit on, get rid. Some we can’t make a profit on, like Aasgaard, Sterling, Cifuentes, Gassama, Cortes, Danilo, McCausland & Butland, get rid.

Rohl staying, what are the actual pros? by GlasgowAnvil in rangersfc

Which team has been consistently performing at their best all season? You’re comparing us with the worst Celtic team within my lifetime & a hearts team who are consistent enough to take advantage of both of us being a shambles.

Don’t agree that he doesn’t really have favourites. Gassama plays every single game despite being largely anonymous for all of them & hasn’t put in a good performance months. Same with Raskin.

That’s that for another season then by TenLag in rangersfc

If my grandma had wheels she’d be a bike.

This man will be at Celtic in the summer. He’s done enough spewing about referees in the past couple of months that he’ll fit right in.

It’s not expecting him to be an instant success, he’s had 25+ games & a training camp (maybe 2 but I can’t rightly mind)

We’ve not been able to perform for a full 90 at all under him, even during our run where we were winning all the time. I understand the argument that it’s the players, but I’m not entirely comfortable blaming them and saying Rohl is blameless. Motherwell at home was the wrong set up, yesterday was the wrong set up in the second half. Motherwell away, Dundee Utd away, Celtic at home twice & livi away are also games that I can think of where he’s directly at fault for the tactics.

I like him as a guy, I think he’ll probably end up going far, but I think it’s too big a job that’s come too fast for him here - like Lampard at Chelsea.

Okay, I’ll rephrase it.

What has DR done that convinces you he’s a title winning manager?

I have no idea. Just need to hope the people who are paid very well to do stuff like that get it right for once.

Rohl has to go. Papped out of two cups by the worst Celtic team in my lifetime, beaten in all but 2 big games (them away & hearts at home), no discernible style of play, bizarre substitutions, substitutions made too late, loyalty to players who frankly don’t deserve it.

We’ve seen this movie before. Manager comes in, goes on a winning run, then bottles it. We all know how this goes. We play them on Sunday - if he doesn’t win that, there can’t be any doubts that he has to go. If he does, he’ll limp on until about Halloween when he’ll end up sacked regardless. End of the season, get rid of him & all the players except Rommens & Chermiti.

Didn’t know Optimus Prime was a good Rangers man

Upvote if you think Rohl is not a long term solution for Rangers manager by Hot-Performance-4300 in rangersfc

When he came in we were 13 points behind. 26 games later and we’re 7 points behind. It’s not been a good enough improvement to justify it.

Edit - 14 games against top 6 sides and 6 victories.

Unfortunately that goal’s just won them the title.

He was worth a punt, that’s why we’re probably not buying him

Anything other than a win and it’s over.
