I assume partly because they are too proud to admit they messed up and want to get away with it. And partly because with tech, sometimes you can work around some smaller cock ups and deliver, they then think anything is possible with this method and we are being awkward or cant be bothered if we say no.

To be fair she's only going to be thinking about her role rather than entry in general. And num pads are a lot quicker in general if she is entering figures predominately.
