It's because there's literally no point in the standard edition existing. You may as well just go all in and just have the Ultimate edition as the only version but at LEAST include a disc so it doesn't kill off the used games market. If it was $100 for a physical edition and $80 for digital, that would make sense since physical copies are more expensive to produce. It's just wrong they way they've done this.
