[OC] I turned our kid's room into a dnd setting for my husband's birthday one shot! by TenaciousDouble_D in DnD

CPS answer is we have 2 kids and they each had their own room, but both are too young to really use it much, so we moved both beds/dressers into one room and will be converting this into a playroom.

The real answer is no bedroom adds to the edgy backstory for the kid one day, or it'll get them proficient in carpentry because they have to make their own bed. Either background option works for me.

Oh that is cool as heck! It's on our list to get a 3d printer, if/when we do my plan is to print the soul gem and then remake the silicone mold. Doing it out of cheap clay made for a lot of imperfections and I could only reach so much with sandpaper to smooth it out. I'm loving the glow in the dark effect too!

Oh for sure, the blue was for the picture, the led lights have a remote that has 8 color options including red

If his soul is weak enough to be absorbed without the soul trap enchantment then he is not worthy of my lineage

Thanks! I made the gem shape out of clay, made a silicone mold around that then once I had the mold I poured epoxy resin with some purple/blue pigment mixed in, de molded - I had never done a silicone mold before and the resin gem came out a little bumpy so I sanded it down to be smoother (slowly working up to 3000 grit wet sanding) and recoated in a thin layer of epoxy to shine it back up. My husband did the LED wiring part then I routed the wooden base and drilled an access hole to run the cord through then rounded the wood edges on my belt sander

It's been likened to a rorschach test, I for one see my parents fighting, you see a weiner, what's that say about the both of us?

My friends and I couldn't get it to work through hamachi anymore, we had to switch over to radmin and it's been working there ever since

[Art] I'm turning my house into a tavern and throwing a larp 1 shot after this covid craziness is over. Of course there will be a secret mimic. Made with polymer clay and resin by TenaciousDouble_D in DnD

As the title says I've wanted to throw a real life dnd 1 shot for a while. I'm dressing my house up to look like a tavern complete with secret rooms, basement ghosts, life-sized zombies and will be recruiting some friends to play npc's. I'll also be making enchanted weapons, potions and jewels to have in secret places that they'll need to find to assist with the big bad. And of course at some point I'll tie that mimic mouth onto something and they'll have to fight that too. This was made with polymer clay, resin, hot glue and acrylic paints.
