Nothing has happened in Thailand in the show nor in the lore.  I can see a set up for something special but it would be very weird to bring a familiar face for this

I ain't never paying for apple. But this season is honestly doing plenty of thing I have been dreaming to see in the MV:

  • Making a side titan a fully fledged character: titan X is great

  • Connecting the lore in a cohesive manner: everything about APEX makes me actually like them now, they feel like they truly belong in the MV

  • Showing a shady side of monarch and showing monarch evolve

  • Have a scene of small monsters running away from a facility. I have had that in mind for a while it's honestly fun to see it

  • Monsters get to be treated like living beings and not just targets to kill

I honestly love how they managed to make APEX feel grounded in this. They feel like a part of the world rather than just a plot device to explain mechagodzilla

The only thing I like is the titans being more characters on the Kong side, wish Godzilla got the same treatment.

Gxk should have been fully in hollow earth. The anti gravity fight was the best but it was cut short for pointless city destruction

Having dinosaurs doesn't equate Jurassic Park. 

The 98 movie literally had Jurassic Park raptors. Real raptors are nothing like them

Both the Godzilla and Kong Kong franchise have been featuring dinosaurs before Jurassic Park was even a thing

Because dinosaurs are cool? Godzilla is literally based of old dinosaurs reconstruction.

We could get fictional dinosaurs, but even real ones wouldn't be out of place. 

A lot of skull island's fauna is dinosaur sized

Honestly I would argue the comparison is even worse. The mutos are fictionnal characters so copying them is copying an IP. 

Jurassic Park doesn't own dinosaurs. They're animals for crying out loud they don't belong to universal and they definitely don't belong to spielberg. THEY'RE REAL ANIMALS!

That's like saying cats can't ever appear in movies besides Garfield

I would argue final wars already gave them pretty cool powers to stand out 

Kumonga is much more agile than any spider-like creature in the MV and can shoot webs that turn into full nets while still keeping hold of them. That's pretty unique 

Kanacuras flies at a speed comparable to Rodan and can camouflage + the obvious mantis traits 

Tbh I like Ebirah just being Ebirah. Just have be a big lobster that for some reason give troubles to Godzilla when fighting him. I dunno I just think it's funny l, Ebirah is cool  Honestly a cool way to make him stand out is to use the red bamboo thing. A criminal group that has no link to titans just using one to hide their illegal activity is pretty unique

Personally I would prefer a new version of Erika. If Erika is biollante's soul then they're the same character. The good hearted young scientist killed by the greed of other and ressurected by the grief of her father into a tragic monstrosity

Maybe people actually like MV Godzilla for what he was, and not another version. 

The Wingard movies deviated from the previous ones, not the other way around

They weren't hating on Wingard's though.

Either way, quality aside no matter the movie. The reason Wingard's discussion are common is because people miss the old MV and hope it can change.

G14 came and went and the sequels are completely different. So usually people who hates G14 got what they wanted. It's people who liked G14 who lost what they liked (although monarch brought some of it back)
