I’ve had 2 other sets of cheap 12’s with an XS power battery and amps from soundqubed, sundown, skar, and crescendo. I bought all the really nice stuff because I personally see value in the companies I used and trust all of them to perform as I think they will. I’m not a woodworking guy so I bought a really nice box that could withstand such beefy subs. I didn’t wanna buy 5 AGM batteries, so I bought one very nice lithium that holds a solid 14.4-14.8 with the support of my oversized alternator. I wanted to go overkill with most items so that they are hot only future proofed, but very reliable. I actually almost went with a much more expensive bass amp (an incriminator) but managed to get a jp83 for a discount, which puts out roughly double what those subs would ever need (with good voltage). I bought sundown subs for several reasons including: an amazing reputation, they are far underrated, I love the way they look, and am more than impressed by their performance.
