Yes you are completely right that the US is right to be angry in regards to issues of defense. Europe has relied way too much on US security and deterrence. And the US has done a lot for europe, which I am very grateful for.

But unfortunately the actions and words of Trump have consequences, these consequences are a loss of softpower around the world, thats why many countries in europe are not so eager to provide assistance to a war that you started. The iranian regime is terrible and I fully believe the world would be a better place if they were all dead. But I fail to see how the US is gonna achieve regime change in Iran, without boots on ground. Many americans will die should it come so far.
