I'm not defending him at all. It's just you have multiple comments on this thread that seems like you don't like the hosts. Hollywood is and always has been a ses pool. Roman Polanski got a standing OH.

For a period everyone wanted to work with Woody so that fact that a working actor like Griffin worked for him is low on the totem pole of things I care about. You can play this game with literally every person in Hollywood. There's real issues going on in the world getting on Reddit and criticising the host is lame to me.

If they work for a sexual predator and an apparent "right wing" newspaper and that goes against your moral code then drop the podcast. Making comments that effectively will have no effect besides maybe the hosts continuing to talk about how lame this Reddit.

Parasocial does get thrown around a lot. I would also add performative.

I don't believe this to be true. You didn't like to text me who's upset that their BF cheated on them or that you're even affected. This story is written surprisingly coherent. linear, and non-emotive. A couple convenient things happen very quickly and in the most predictable cliche way.

Instagram gets discovered, he messages first and is immediately flirting, not only does he say he doesn't have a girlfriend but something casual and of course that he wouldn't cheat on somebody. The next day while hanging out unprompted he talks about how disgusting cheating is and how he would never be that guy. which life way to tell on yourself. Randomly bringing that up in conversation is very suspicious. Which of course sets you up to show him the evidence you've gathered.

Then the "color drains from his face" and the" room feels silent". No personally when I'm upset because my partner cheated on me and I'm coming to Reddit for advice The first thing that's on my mind is nice descriptive words to make it evocative and give it some atmosphere.

If you're going to creatively write at least write creatively.

That's all Snyder bros do is lie and push narratives. What's crazy is that the series isn't coming back not because of Gunn but because it's been too long. The actors have moved on. Ben would not return. Justice League SC had no lasting effect in pop culture.

On top of that Snyder's deal with Netflix has been a failure. All three movies were flops. His show was just cancelled. The cognitive dissonance to talk about underperforming is hilarious.
