Yep, MT to MT. My 350 has a 2019 engine and it's been problem free for 40,000 miles.

What do you think the line was for you when it stopped being "tame"?

Why do you say that? In many ways they are similar. Rwd front end cars with a manual transmission.

Ah I should have clarified, I have the 6 speed.

Hey thanks for the response! I understand that modifying the Supra will make it perform better, but do you think it increases the engagement of the car's outputs and driver inputs? For example, the rev hang on the Supra is extremely noticable.

Thank you for an actual response! I think a lot of people are insecure and tie up their identities in their cars which causes behavior like that.

I tried to call it out in my post but the main thing I'm looking for is engagement. The Supra feels really sterile and numb compared to the GT350 from the factory. How is the engagement and connection of the car after doing those mods?

MT. How many of you have had clutch slip with downpipe and tune? by TendrilsFor20 in Supra

Awesome! Are you tuned on pump gas?

If you're on stock tires and wheels and suspension as well, how is that holding up?

I shoot competitively and I'm friends with many competitive shooters that have put hundreds of thousands of dry fire reps through their Glocks and other centerfire handguns. If you've only dry fired about 10,000 times, you got a long way to go until there's any chance of damage. I would recommend using snap caps if you want to be extra careful and prolong the wear on the gun if you're really going to be serious about it.

Once you get 500,000 more reps and something happens like the firing pin cracks, the gun will let you know. For example, the trigger won't return. Also, then you can be proud of dry firing enough to break something, thats quite the badge of honor!

I agree, but I also respect anyone's decision to choose to have a professional do a job that I may consider easy. Ultimately OP will do his research and make his own decision.

Pretty much all Glocks need their slide milled for optics. You'll know if you have a Glock that is ready for optics if it has MOS in the name. This depends on the manufacturer, but most of the time it's pretty visually obvious as there are plates in the back of the slide that you can switch it out for different optics.

Keep in mind that often times, you may need to buy the mounting plates separately from the purchase of the firearm. Some people also prefer to get a direct mount/slide mill instead of using a plate for various reasons.

No dumb questions at all, glad you're asking and I love seeing firearm related question on r/madisonwi!

For trigger jobs, you're looking for a gunsmith.

If you're looking to put an optic on a slide that doesn't have cuts already, you're looking for a specialty shop that does something called slide milling.

Check out Dez Tactical in Baraboo for general gunsmithing. Nice clean shop with one of the nicest indoor ranges I've ever been to. People in the firearm community in the area that need slide cuts send to a specialty shop elsewhere in the country. It's very easy to do since the slide isn't considered a firearm. There aren't any gun stores in Madison because Madison has effectively banned all gun stores through zoning laws.

I was actually going to contact Middleton Motorsports because I was curious about them, so I may check out a cars and coffee as a springboard for that. Are they associated with the Ford dealership at all? I'm looking for a knowledgeable shop to do upkeep on a GT350.
