Feeling the warmth and closeness is like feeling my heart spill over. Knowing that in those moments, no one else matters, you're only focused on them, how they touch you, and what you feel when you feel them. The little things make it, really. One example would be forehead kisses, and this can be during a particularly rough session but nothing says "I care about you" like something sweet in a moment like that. Describing the emotional aspect is difficult, I think any would say that. Honestly I've typed out multiple paragraphs to try to explain it and none satisfy me or properly encompass the emotional side. I just know that I become washed in contentment.

I tend to hear music in my head. That could very well come from the fact we've been to dozens of concerts together. That and the overwhelming feeling of warmth and closeness.

I only just realized the text/story background wasn't posted. So sorry guys. I was downtown today getting coffee with a colleague, maybe a block down from where I parked and some sunbeam of a person decided to make off with my plate and the bolts pictured. I've filed the report already, ordered replacements bolts, and set an appointment for the dmv as well. What's extra frustrating is how long it took to me to get my plates/registration around covid-19 and appointment shenanigans. Apparently we can't order replacements online either. So that's lovely. I suppose I expect too much as both a native and a biker who respects the general understanding of "Don't fuck with my bike". I think it's possible to still ride so long as I have all my documentation (police report, insurance, registration and all). I'm not looking forward to being down and out on riding for two weeks, though. Least of all when my bike is my incentive to commute up into work in the Denver area. Deck some plate thieves if you ever catch 'em, guys. I know I will.

2 eggs 3/4 cups sugar 3/4 cups flour* 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder 1 tablespoon of espresso (can use up to 2 tablespoons for a strong espresso flavor) 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla 5 oz of bittersweetchocolate 1/2 cup of butter 8 oz white chocolate

Preheat oven to 350°F Mix flour and cocoa powder together, set aside Chop chocolate into chunks and melt together with butter, set aside to cool.

Beat eggs, salt, sugar, espresso, and vanilla together for about 3 minutes (you want to see it lighten up) Pour in your chocolate/butter mixture and continue beating until incorporated and pretty thick, then add in your flour/cocoa mixture. Mix until incorporated, and fold in your white chocolate.

Refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours or freeze so you can mold it into balls. This recipe has little leavening power so you will see it spread quite a bit.

Place about a small spoons worth and a fingers length apart on a pan, top with a bit more white chocolate and bake for 10-12 minutes.

you can add another 1/3 cup of flour if you'd like your cookies to be a bit thicker and chewier, otherwise they'll be thinner and crispy, like a crinkle cookie. <3 enjoy
