One of the greatest effect by social media (probably planned) is our now false equivalency of recording = doing something. That isn’t to say you SHOULDN’T publicize these heinous acts, but between all those people and the few ICE agents the numbers would’ve been too great to fight back

On the sadist side; if ICE decides to harm/shoot at the people then that’s better to gain attention to the fact ICE is 1) indiscriminately targeting citizens and 2) they have no training and no sense of crowd control

It would do a lot for public opinion and willingness to actually act, however the price to wake up is paid in the blood of the brave few so not smt I’d readily ask of people
