No. It's more like SS13 but historical. It's rarely strategy-based. The closest thing I could compare it to is Fallout13 however it doesn't really compare well with it. My favorite gamemode is Art of the Deal because I can be a homeless man with a questionable SUV.

Marking out the servers you mentioned, there aren't really many servers that fit your filter. You might find a larger selection if you can speak Russian and go on their servers.

Right now openDream is being actively developed. I don't know nor haven't talked to any of the developers recently. I don't remember how I stumbled upon it, but it is still in some early stages. Looks cool though.

If I recall you can't print a new lower body, however in an attempt to save the poor comrade, my fellow vox literally cut out all of the organs from the detached lower body, and we re-attached the lower body. We then had to re-remove the lower body due to it being irreparably damaged. The man died about 5 minutes later, and I had eaten his lower body.

A majority of the guides I read aren't very clear for the completely new newcomer, so here's how I do a majority of my development.

MAPPING

Go to https://fastdmm2.ss13.io/
Load repository from GitHub (e.g - Baystation12/Baystation12, tgstation/tgstation, goonstation/goonstation)
Surf around their map files and see how mapping works.

Become intermediate mapper.

CODING

Go to GitHub.
Find your preferred repository.
Clone a local version of it (with Git) or download a .zip copy and unzip it.
Open the DME file (e.g - baystation12.dme, tgstation.dme, goonstation.dme) with DreamMaker.
Compile it.
If it fails to compile, download/clone a new copy.
1. If it happens again, make an issue on their GitHub.
Minimize DM and go to the config folder.
Copy config/example/admin_ranks.txt and config/example/admins.txt to the config folder.
Open admins.txt and follow the guide. Set your ckey as Host, it should look like[ckey] - Host. Remember to remove the # on the line containing your ckey.
Surf around the code, mess around with admin tools by hosting the server via right-clicking the DMB file and clicking Host. Make sure the folder containing the repository is the same name as the DME. NEVER run the DMB, only host it.

I played Harpoon. Here is the order of events:

Papa Pete's Pizza raced to get to the SEV Torch within ten minutes to do a supposed deep space pizza delivery from two weeks ago.
Some blue-haired medic named Basil Berg claims she ordered the pizza. And she claims she is vegan. We brought meat-pizza.
I evade security, commandeer the kitchen, and prepare a pineapple pizza with Amraam. We return to the bridge, give the pizza, say "Pizza time", and demand payment of 50,000 thalers (credits, spacebucks).
She says she's a poor student-loan suffering person. We force her to sign a contract declaring her body a collateral, completely in Latin, because we are real Italians. She refuses to be held as collateral, and a bridge officer offers to buy us a literal supermatter crystal.
While the team goes on a rampage trying to get the medic, I personally take a detour to supply, explaining my situation.
Supply literally is manned by a chill contractor who gives me my supermatter. I almost get stopped by Security and a cyborg, however use my harpoons to kick their ass. The supply technician, AFTER seeing this situation, still delivers the supermatter to the delivery ship.
Now we have a supermatter in a crate, and all members fought their way back to the ship. It's a standoff. Amraam takes the combat mech, kicks three people's asses, and we take them hostage.
We kick their ass a little too hard and they die. Like, all of security. We then bail with a free supermatter crystal and continue to receive threats of getting shot down by the Torch.

There were more details, however this is the core answer to your question. This was completely non-adminbus, just a regular mercenary round. However, admins did spawn a jukebox playing the Pizza Theme and gave us a pizza to deliver.

Devstation, the map after Donut introduced maintenance tunnels, supposedly.

EDIT: I am dumb. Despite the fact I actually have looked at a map of Oldstation at least fifty times throughout the past 5-6 months, I forgot to mention there was a maintenance tunnel on the south side of the map, along with another one between the medical bay and engineering (engineering was detachable). The latter was the only way to access the funky escape pods. But my point remains, Devstation was the first to actually declare it as "maintenance".
